One more Tuesday please..!

How wonderful can be an odyssey of a Death ; Journey of giving oneself not only to the death but carving  many lives out of it while walking insidiously towards it..! .; Tuesdays with Morrie  By Mitch Albom , the phenomenal book to experience, and to live with
I will emphasize on two prerequisites , please find an absolute your time for catching up with this one, and you have to be a bit unhurried with it ,to grasp it to the core . Mind it,  you tend to go back and re-read  few lines, pages.. or may be the entire episode.!
It can be easily mislabelled as just another book in the self help category, but  its wonderfully worked up by Mitch Albom.  A very addictive book, you cant keep yourself away , once you have touched it . It was first published in 1997 in US, and reprinted till 2014.
Book goes only with two main characters; Mitch ,who plays actually a  student in the book ;and who eventually takes us to the lecture rooms where the Morrie his coach is just being with him and teaching him through his gestures and talks, and we become the silent listener, follower  ,caretaker and at times The Morrie himself !  The marvelous thing about the book is , we get attached ourselves with both of them, and experience everything including the impending death as they do. Every Tuesday of Mitch converts ours and each wisdom note shared by Morrie becomes a guideline, for most of the time.  Though there are few facets or a few suggestions which one can differ about, but again that is personal.
The book unveils the journey of Mitch from a youngster to a media tycoon as very practical person with possible proud assets. Then the  unexpected encounter with his long forgotten coach Morrie ,forces him to reach up to his soul ,discovering real him within !
About Morrie, just beyond words , his evolution as Morrie on a death bed with the non treatable disease called ALS, is actually a treatise of personal experience for the reader. Morrie becomes the magnanimous ,empathetic giver to those everyone around him , and his interactions with Mitch ,he looks upon and craves for, when he knows its a very vital thing to pass on, till his last breath!
Where they talk about love, fear death, marriage , family, regrets , self pity , detachment and so on. The author Mitch has beautifully handled these deep and heavy philosophical issues , in relatively easy  manner . Author has also managed and avoided rambling while writing and adjoining the other stories. So book becomes the pocket book , ready to be taken anywhere.
It is also about the beautiful bond and relationship a coach or a mentor and a follower or disciple should actually share. The total selfless mentor, ready to unwind his wisdom box, without any games or codes running, is complimented by the truly surrendered learner, who prioritize this over everything . Who learns the greatness of the coach as every Tuesday passes  by, and becomes more receptive and grounded. This transformation which is made by just the  humble talks of a totally disabled fellow is very gradual ,  graceful and it becomes the strength ! This relationship lingers on.!
The connection with the book grows so strong that even we don’t want Morrie to die and  long for continuum of these Tuesdays !  when he dies , we surely feel a blankness ..! What a powerful writing..!
It’s a true story which holds impression on you forever .!
