AIB take a back seat....!

Stuff you are going to watch now is filthy. (please think before you log in /or watch)
The warning which appears like a warning on the Pandora’s Box, not to open it..!
And the trap follows..
You go through it, you seem to enjoy it as if mesmerized by the content as you can't find it usual, so you go on till the end. And you get illusioned that you were enjoying it.
And why is so, because if you watch it again and over for couple of more times, you surely feel nauseating..!! As an enjoyable thing is repetitively the same and never nauseating..!
yes that’s the reality of AIB Roast.
Neither I fall in the group of supporters who have lodged complaint against the entire AIB and the participants that day , nor I am a big fan of Tanmay Bhat and his ‘gang’. I am just an opined person who can’t tolerate any nonsense in the name of humor as well as in the name of culture.
I feel sorry for those who are complaining officially about AIB; acting as the moral inspector of the country or the entire culture, and tradition per say. Basically they are just interfering as an outsider. Making themselves look more like awkward and culturally confused masses .Because its baseless to have such complaints when the show is hosted privately , attended by almost 40 k people paying as high as 4k per ticket , and when it is on internet its going so viral that they have to remove it, for the same reason !
So creating a scene against the roast is like acting as an adamant child, but not thinking over and blindly following it will be like an imbecile, idiot..!
Now the fundamental question is , what does a humor mean? Humor is a great weapon in itself, it’s a peculiar rare art which very few people are blessed with. It needs a very strong gray matter and its due utilization!  It’s the essential aspect of literature. It is always amusing. It can be anything but the profanation!!!  And that’s where the AIB has crossed the line which turned a humorous act in to a hideous, and  vulgar one, and yes very cheap!
Taste is a subjective thing, agreed. But what kind of a liking allows one to be amused by forcefully cracked jokes pertaining to caste, creed, religions, or merely sexuality, one’s physical appearance, or color, or sexual preferences, libido, or love affairs ..!!?  It actually sounded like a pathetic, piteous brainless attempt of humor.
. Others, laughing over it are either clue less  why they are laughing , and what they are laughing about , or they are following the herd , in mere false assumption of keeping up with their so called cool quotient for sure, and the fear if they disagree to do so, they will be labelled as backward , orthodox chunks , irrespective of their age..!
Beyond this if filthier is better for some of them, then as I said, it is the personal choice.
The AIB roast was actually well planned but majorly back fired event I would say ..! Basically as all know its an adaption of roasting concept , which dates back itself in the history at the year 1949
They tried to make a nice cup of tea with the coffee beans..! Tried to copy down everything without understanding the ease which the other culture has , where being a rostee and a roster both are taken very casually , without any prejudices. Well and the fact was, AIB, the total show was based on assumptions, cracking down the basic concept of roasting, of being unbiased..!
Neither using the F word thousand times or abusing in whatever language you know , doesn't count for entertainment nor demonstrating sexual postures in a teasing manner,  Guys you supremely lack in the quality and ease and here you all fail individually and as a performance . So rather than a comic act it just becomes a couple of hours full of abusing , sledging and laughing meaning less . Yes they did deliver few quality jokes , but so rare that it was like counting strands on a bald scalp..!
Any publicity is a good publicity , so , these guys are successful in that respect.., Bravo ..!  But I would definitely like to pause , think and decide what’s actually worthy to watch, discuss and to remember . I can compare this AIB roast only with those brainless family dramas appearing on our television, useless, brainless and deceiving! Giving a very unrealistic picture in every possible gaudy frame .
What more can be said when Karan Johar at the beginning of the show ,  himself said that an ambulance is needed after an  hour for his mother..! speaks it all..!
So Tanmay Bhat (who twitted after reaction to AIB Roast: kya repressive country hain yar..!) , its time to rethink who is repressive in real sense..!

One more Tuesday please..!

How wonderful can be an odyssey of a Death ; Journey of giving oneself not only to the death but carving  many lives out of it while walking insidiously towards it..! .; Tuesdays with Morrie  By Mitch Albom , the phenomenal book to experience, and to live with
I will emphasize on two prerequisites , please find an absolute your time for catching up with this one, and you have to be a bit unhurried with it ,to grasp it to the core . Mind it,  you tend to go back and re-read  few lines, pages.. or may be the entire episode.!
It can be easily mislabelled as just another book in the self help category, but  its wonderfully worked up by Mitch Albom.  A very addictive book, you cant keep yourself away , once you have touched it . It was first published in 1997 in US, and reprinted till 2014.
Book goes only with two main characters; Mitch ,who plays actually a  student in the book ;and who eventually takes us to the lecture rooms where the Morrie his coach is just being with him and teaching him through his gestures and talks, and we become the silent listener, follower  ,caretaker and at times The Morrie himself !  The marvelous thing about the book is , we get attached ourselves with both of them, and experience everything including the impending death as they do. Every Tuesday of Mitch converts ours and each wisdom note shared by Morrie becomes a guideline, for most of the time.  Though there are few facets or a few suggestions which one can differ about, but again that is personal.
The book unveils the journey of Mitch from a youngster to a media tycoon as very practical person with possible proud assets. Then the  unexpected encounter with his long forgotten coach Morrie ,forces him to reach up to his soul ,discovering real him within !
About Morrie, just beyond words , his evolution as Morrie on a death bed with the non treatable disease called ALS, is actually a treatise of personal experience for the reader. Morrie becomes the magnanimous ,empathetic giver to those everyone around him , and his interactions with Mitch ,he looks upon and craves for, when he knows its a very vital thing to pass on, till his last breath!
Where they talk about love, fear death, marriage , family, regrets , self pity , detachment and so on. The author Mitch has beautifully handled these deep and heavy philosophical issues , in relatively easy  manner . Author has also managed and avoided rambling while writing and adjoining the other stories. So book becomes the pocket book , ready to be taken anywhere.
It is also about the beautiful bond and relationship a coach or a mentor and a follower or disciple should actually share. The total selfless mentor, ready to unwind his wisdom box, without any games or codes running, is complimented by the truly surrendered learner, who prioritize this over everything . Who learns the greatness of the coach as every Tuesday passes  by, and becomes more receptive and grounded. This transformation which is made by just the  humble talks of a totally disabled fellow is very gradual ,  graceful and it becomes the strength ! This relationship lingers on.!
The connection with the book grows so strong that even we don’t want Morrie to die and  long for continuum of these Tuesdays !  when he dies , we surely feel a blankness ..! What a powerful writing..!
It’s a true story which holds impression on you forever .!
